The last portrait session of 2021 of four year old Caomhanach (pronounced Kavanagh) an Irish surname. Caomhánach also means "a friend, companion" and "merciful". However, this young man is a talkative, intelligent and active toddler and during the portrait session he created some outstanding images.

Natural beauty is a term I do not use lightly however, the recent portrait session I had with Maddy May was memorable because of this exact term. Maddy is not a professional model and would like to try her hand at modelling. I believe this is only her second or third time in front of a camera and she already looks like a professional model. 
She is a student at Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts where she is completing a Sound Engineer degree course. With some directions during the session Maddy was able to produce some exceptional images with make up by Lenka @lenka and shot at Librestudioliverpool @librestudioliverpool.

Liverpool Photography Studio @librestudioliverpool was the setting for the Fine Art Portrait session with the lovely Lucy. Make up was provided by Lenka K @lenkamakeup. Lucy is a degree student at John Moores University studying to be a veterinary doctor. This was her very first professional photo session in a studio and infant of a camera. This was a one light setup with reflector to one side shot on a Fuji XT2 camera with fuji Xf 56mm 1.2 lens. It always seems to amaze me the quality of images that can be created from mirrorless cameras. However, creating timeless images is not about the kit but about the concept and creativity of the session working together as a team, the model, make uo artis and photographer.
