Grenadian People is the start of a new series of portraits depicting the islanders in their everyday lives. Some are artists, grandmothers, musicians, cleaners and craftsmen and women. Curtis is a native islander known through many of the parishes due to his charisma and charm. Here he is cooling himself in the shade on La Tante Beach, Grenada. His dreadlocks dangle well below his waist as he poses for a portrait. The sunlight, warmth and fresh sea air makes this small island of spice a magical place to be in the Caribbean.
