Yesterday I had the pleasure of taking the portrait of Matthew Pate in my Liverpool Photography studio. Matthew had never been photographed by a portrait photographer before and was very relaxed and confident during his session. All my portrait sessions are kept this way and everyone is put at ease as soon as they arrive in the studio. Matthew is a student studying Occupational Therapy at Oxford and has an extraordinary love of water or in his own words "untainted water". The session was completed in just over an hour and a half and Matthew was able to choose his favourite images from the shoot. Here are a couple of the images from the session.
